Here are the initial steps we take.
- Determin the source of the Water. if not already done
- Stop the water if possible
- We use infared technoligy, Moisture meters Inspection cameras AND GOOD COMMON SENCE to determine effected areas. With out these tools most likely some moiture pokets would be left behing and cause mold damage
- Depending on the source of the water and how long its been wet will determine what building materials can be dryed or what must be replaced. Example: Sewer pipe backs up. Carpet, drywall insulation, and any pourus material must be dicarded and replaced. Non porous and semi pourus materials such as framing, concrete tile floors ect. can be cleaned Dryed and restored.
- We Extract standing water form carpet areas and hard surfaces to eliminate further water damage. Even if we are removing your carpet and pad we still do water extraxtion from the carpet and pad. It is very dificult to remove watter logged carpet and pad.
- We remove building materials that can hinder drying of other effected areas.
